2011 Year in Review

The season was scattered all over the country-side this year as I introduced the #4X machine to the racing community. The #4X is a 1375lb, 800hp, winged outlaw sprinter that we took to Husets Speedway in Brandon SD four times and Rock Rapids IA once this year to break the driver and car in to such a wild machine! Also, juggling a hectic work schedule, we showed up nine times at Rock Rapids with the tried and true non-wing traditional sprinter, and tossed out Papik Motors apparel to the fans! But Rock Rapids is not the only place we went with the non-wing, we were able to sneak down to Sioux Center IA for the fair races and snagged a 3rd place finish! I was fortunate to drive for other race teams this year as well! On a more regular basis, I drove for Richard Veekners, out of Windom MN. With his car, we traveled to the big half-mile in Jackson MN for eight shows and Hartford SD once. The second team I drove for was the legendary 1W of LL Woodke out of Lakefield MN! We showed up at the ASCS National event at Jackson Speedway’s “33rd Annual Jackson Nationals” pitting us against some of the best sprint car drivers in the world!
On the year, I had, one win, eight top 5’s, twelve top 10’s, and seven DNF’s.(mostly due to getting the new 410 dialed in) All in all we raced 26 shows in 14 weeks! In addition to the track exposure, the website has had over 24,000 views since it started last year, and I handed out countless pictures of the car to young and old fans alike!
For 2012 it is my plan to run the Outlaw 410 Sprinter at more shows at Husets speedway among other tracks as their schedules come out. I will keep running at Rock Rapids as my work schedule will let me and plans are in the works to race for Richard Veekners again in Jackson MN!
