14th-place finish in Spring Thaw finale at Volunteer Speedway
After missing Saturday's $30,000-to-win show, Brad Dyer showed up to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Sunday afternoon for the second day of the XR Super Series-sanctioned Spring Thaw.
With 32 Late Models checked in, Dyer laid down the second-fastest in his group and recorded a strong runner-up finish in his heat race. Rolling off sixth in the $12,000-to-win feature, Brad ran inside the Top-10 for much of the 40-lap race but faded late to finish 14th.
