West Jr. Capping Rookie Campaign This Weekend at Riverside International Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – ATOKA, Tenn. (Oct. 27, 2020) – Jeffrey West Jr. will wrap up his rookie season behind the wheel of a 360ci winged sprint car this weekend at Riverside International Speedway.
The oval in West Memphis, Ark., hosts the USCS Series on Friday and Saturday for the 12th annual USCS Flip Flop 50 and USCS Fall Nationals. It will mark the first time West Jr. has raced in back-to-back features on the same night in the 360 sprint car division.
“I’m really looking forward to that,” he said. “It’s something I haven’t done before. I’m interested to see how it will play out. To reflect right away and apply that for the second feature and then to get more laps is a great opportunity for us.”
West Jr. has raced at Riverside International Speedway five times this season. He’s registered his career-best 360 sprint car result of seventh twice at the track.
“I started racing there so I’m a lot more comfortable with that track,” he said. “I have a lot more laps there than anywhere else.
“A goal is to try to get a top five. We haven’t gotten one all year. We’ve been good at Riverside and we’ve been close. We want to keep the car together and have a good run. A top five would be a great ending to the season.”
