Dyer Motorsports Invades Needmore

Brad Dyer trekked south to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) over the weekend for the 12th annual Early Bird 50.

A stout field of 41 entries hit the track on Friday, and Brad qualified third fastest in his group to earn the third-starting spot for his heat race. He went on to finish second in the heat race to earn the sixth-starting spot for Saturday's $10,000-to-win finale.

Unfortunately in Saturday's finale luck would not be on Dyer's side. He was running in the sixth position on the 10th circuit, when he caught the wall coming off turn two. Dyer collected several other competitors in the melee as his race and his year came to a disappointing end in the 23rd position.
