August 31st Results & Season Championship Recap

Racing action returned to the Jamestown Speedway this past Saturday for Season Championship Night presented by R&B Motorsports. The weather turned out to be beautiful and it provided for a lot of action for Championship night. We want to thank all of the drivers, fans, and track workers that came out to enjoy the action on Saturday. The track was outstanding, as it was very smooth and had a lot of racing grooves. We had a total of 107 cars in the pits. Congratulations goes out to our winners and runner-ups on Saturday night:

Bombers/Pure Stocks - 22 Cars:

  • Winner: Jayden Michaelsohn, Runner-Up: Dylan Sandberg

INEX Legends - 14 Cars:

  • Winner: Drew Papke, Runner-Up: Donavin Wiest

Wissota Midwest Modifieds - 24 Cars:

  • Winner: Lucas Rodin, Runner-Up: Randy Klein

Wissota Street Stocks - 22 Cars:

  • Winner: Jonny Carter, Runner-Up: Dustin Erickson

IMCA Modifieds - 21 Cars:

  • Winner: Darren Pfau, Runner-Up: Casey Arneson

Jr./Sr. Slingshots - 4 Cars:

  • Winner: Gavin Edinger, Runner-Up: Collin Compson

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see you guys back for the Stock Car Stampede. Additionally, we have to thank Emma Rosa's Homecookin for providing Kuchen's out to the drivers and fans tonight as part of the 1st Annual Kuchen Classic. It was delicious!

Please join us in a few weeks for more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. The next race is the 48th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede scheduled for Friday, September 20th, and Saturday, September 21st with 9 racing classes in action!! Also, drivers don't forget to sign-up for the 48th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede Calcutta auction, as it adds money into the prize fund for the Stampede weekend.
