$10,000 Georgetown Double-Down Set For Modified Racers At Georgetown Speedway Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend November 4-5

GEORGETOWN, DE €“ Modified racers, be ready. There are 10,000 reasons to make the tow south to Delaware in November.

Thanks to a partnership with Chesapeake Paving of Parsonsburg, Md., a $10,000 Georgetown Double-Down program has been announced for the Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend set for November 4-5 at Georgetown Speedway.

During the two-day Mid-Atlantic Championship weekend, Friday nights (Nov. 4) small-block Modified 30-lap event offers a $3,000 winners share. On Saturday (Nov. 5), big-block Modified competitors race for $4,000 to win in a 40-lap main.

Should one driver sweep both events, Chesapeake Paving and Georgetown Speedway will boost their earnings to a cool $10,000 via the Georgetown Double-Down incentive. That is 70 feature laps for a possible 10k!

We are doing our best to make our Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend stand out, Georgetown Speedway promoter Brett Deyo said. This is an incentive that should attract attention of racers from across the Northeast. Thanks to Jeff Brown and Chesapeake Paving for stepping up to make this happen.

Chesapeake Paving, a family owned company since 1995, is on the web at www.chesapeakepaving.net.

The huge Mid-Atlantic Championship program will feature big-block Modifieds, small-block Modifieds, Super Late Models, Crate 602 Sportsman, Crate Late Models, Little Lincolns, Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Cars, Delmarva Chargers and Delaware Super Trucks.

Sunday (November 6) and the weekend of November 18-19 will be utilized in the event of inclement weather.
