Memorial Day Weekend Double Header - Military Appreciation and IMCA Red River Modified Tour
Heart O' Texas Speedway will be hosting a Memorial Day Double Header this weekend.
Friday Night May 25th is Military Appreciation day at the speedway. All Military Personnel past and present and their dependents will receive free general admission into the grand stands. Must present valid ID. All weekly classes will be in action on Friday Night. At the end of the racing action on Friday Night the speedway will host the Dirt Dominator. This is a 16 car bracket race with a winner take all $1000.00 purse. This event is the prelude event to the upcoming Red River Modified Tour. Standard Weekly Admission Prices for the Friday Night Event. Gates open at 6:00 pm and Racing Actions Begins at 8:00pm
Sunday Night the speedway will be the 2nd Stop on the IMCA Red River Modified Tour. This tour takes IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, and IMCA Southern Sportmods to six different tracks in seven days across two states. Also on the show card for this event will be the IMCA RaceSaver Sprints and the always exciting Factory Stock Division. Gates open at 5:00pm and Racing Action begins at 7:00pm.
This should be some great racing action with drivers from across the country competing for the chance to be crowned the tour champion in each division.
