SANDBERG WINS A NAILBITER
Pole sitter Karlie Hoerner led the field to the green flag in the Hobby Stock feature. Hoerner got an early lead over Nathan Mundahl while the battle was heating up for third between Paul Morman and John Gartner Jr. Hoerner was on pace for her first Dacotah Speedway feature until a string of late race cautions changed everything. On the final restart of the night, Hoerner and Morman raced side by side for the lead. Morman cleared Hoerner, bringing Gartner Jr with him. As Morman and Gartner started to battle for the lead, it allowed Dylan Sandberg to make it a three car battle. Contact between Morman and Gartner allowed Sandberg to slip by. As the checkered flag waved, John Gartner Jr gave it his all but came up short to feature winner, Dylan Sandberg. Paul Morman finished third ahead of points leader Bill Hultberg and Nathan Mundahl.
