Bentley Smith WINS at Rocket Raceway Park
WHAT A WEEKEND!
Bentley started the weekend off with our championship baseball game Saturday morning. The boys played really well but came up 2 runs short.
Loaded up after the baseball tournament and made the trip to Rocket Raceway Park. As always, he drew a high number putting him (Bentley) starting p3 in the first heat. They took the green and Bentley was able to jump to the lead early and hold on to win the heat. The heat win gave Bentley the most passing points so that put him starting pole for the feature.
They started the feature and Bentley dropped back to second on the first lap and was battling hard to get the lead back. Bentley was finally able to get the lead back with a few laps to go and bring home his second win of the season and giveaway another autographed Dirt Defender wheel cover to a lucky young fan.

Huge thank you to Lisa McGary, Cheryl Buckner Smith, Tracy Smith, Heather Spencer and Jeff Sonntag for always helping at the track and making sure the car is ready no matter how busy they are. It was great getting to see all of the fans and kids during the candy call at intermission!
