OLHEISER FINDS VICTORY LANE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Young Dayton Olheiser pulled away early in the first feature of the Night of the Legends. The feature, which consisted of Young Lions and Semi-Pro drivers, was full of slicing and dicing near the front. Early cautions erased Olheiser’s lead which allowed Evan Hendrickson to challenge for the top spot. They briefly raced door to door until Hendrickson slipped by but suddenly got loose the following lap, handing the lead back to Olheiser. As the laps wound down, Casey Martin found speed along the high side and slowly worked his way towards the front. Unfortunately, for Casey Martin, he would have to settle for second as he ran out of time. Dayton Olheiser finished first for the first time in his young racing career. Dustin Hagen finished third ahead of Evan Henderickson and the highest finishing Young Lion, Sierra Davenport.
