Agco Night a success

Rain threatened most of day but it turned out to be one of the nicest evenings for Saturday night racing action at 81 Speedway. Agco employees and our faithful fans packed the stands to watch a great racing surface develop throughout the night.
In a change (that he may question) GM John Allen led off the show with the JLR property management Rookie Modifieds taking to the moisture rich 3/8 mile track. What ended up being some bad luck with a flat tire for early race leader Chevy Coleman, allowed Logan Johnson, Dakota Dale, Fred Freeman, and Wyatt Gaggero to battle for the lead. Fast Freddy looked to be at the point when he also succumbed to mechanical failure and an early exit. Wyatt, Dakota and Logan faced several yellows on the way to the First career victory for Logan Johnson!!!, Gaggero 2nd, Dale 3rd.
In the Primal Jerky Mini stocks ladies and gentlemen we have us a points battle!! Young gun Mr. 4 in a row Jayce Reimer started on the front row with Fast starter Gratton Dalton. With what looked to be just those two battling for the win, was almost spoiled as Tina Flauding bobbled off of turn 4 and carried that momentum into the front stretch wall and rolled over one complete time, (she was uninjured) that accident froze the competition under a Red flag. On the restart R.C. Esparza challenged for the top spot in turns 1-2, but Dalton and Reimer pulled away down the backstretch and Reimer made one last effort off of 4 as Gratton just beat him to the checkered!! Reimer 2nd, Esparza 3rd.
Third on the night was the AutoTech Service and Tire Super Stocks, with pole sitter Jeff Richey not able to get the #32 to fire up, it left the front row to Agco night star Kyle Blocher and his dad David Blocher to get us going. From the Green flag Kyle looked to be a man on a mission to win, he was fast closing in on David until his night and his engine went up in smoke! David went on to another win and celebrated in O’reillys Auto Parts victory lane, Shane Cook 2nd, and in his stock car, Clint Smith fought hard to finish 3rd.
Alternative Pest Management USRA modified's seem to never disappoint, and with 4 or 5 USMTS regulars in the house we were all in for a show. Tanner Mullens redrew the pole and jumped out to an early lead, Lance Mari battled hard as he and Darron Fuqua charged thru lap traffic trying to run down the leader. 9th place starting Hollywood Tyler Davis quickly found his way up to the top 5, but without any mistakes and Zero Cautions Tanner Went on to win making it two in a row, Fuqua 2nd, Tyler Davis 3rd.
F.O.E Wants to thank Agco, all of the fans, the crews, drivers, staff and the safety team for everything!!
We hope to see you all back This Thursday August 4th for the USMTS Keeper of the Plains race!!!
