HOWE-KELLAR COLLECTS FIRST CAREER WIN
Bismarck’s Karlie Hoerner started on the pole in the Hobby Stock feature. Bill Hultberg quickly grabbed the lead before a series of cautions regrouped the field. On a lap three caution, Seth Howe-Kellar powered by Hultberg to take the lead. Hultberg hung with Howe-Kellar as they pulled away from the field. Meanwhile, the race for third was heating up between Josh Roehrich, John Gartner Jr and Nathan Mundahl. A late race caution regrouped the field and on the final restart, Gartner Jr passed Josh Roehrich for third while Hultberg was all over Howe-Kellar’s rear bumper. As they crossed the finish line, Seth Howe-Kellar held off Bill Hultberg to win his first career hobby stock feature victory. John Gartner Jr finished third ahead of Josh Roehrich as Ryker Vetter finished a personal best with a fifth place finish.
