Blake Hahn Earns Top Ten Finish During Rough Lake Ozark Outing
Bryan Hulbert - ELDON Mo. (June 3, 2021) Leading laps before getting grabbed and thrown by a rough Lake Ozark Speedway this past weekend, the run may have ended with disappointment but was not without a solid performance on Saturday night with Blake Hahn moving forward to a six place finish.
"We had Sunday. The car was fast, I just got to deep into turn-one and once I did, there was no saving it," stated Hahn. "The fact that we had the car to beat is the biggest disappointment."
"The track was rough, and it didn't take much to destroy a car. Unfortunately, we found that threshold, but it wasn't a complete loss of a weekend. Saturday was a solid night, and kept us in the points."
Back in Tulsa, the team is assembling another car and plans to shake it down this weekend against the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products at Humboldt Speedway and Creek County Speedway.
"Thankfully we have a backup car and time to get things dialed in before we head west. Since it is a new car, we are going to skip Lawton so we can get back, go over the car, and make sure we have everything set and ready so we for Creek."
