Danny Holtgraver Will Return to All Stars in 2016
Pittsburgh, PA (February 1, 2016) – “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver will return to the road in 2016, set to follow the entire Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions schedule. Holtgraver, who finished eighth in the final series standings in 2015, will pilot the Pete Grove-owned No. 70 during his upcoming All Star campaign, rejoining crew chief Cody Jacobs for what he hopes to be a “career season.”
“I’m excited for this deal to finally come together” Danny Holtgraver said, “Pete Grove and I teamed together for a few starts at the end of last year and found speed almost instantly. He’s a great car owner and has the tools and equipment to be successful with the All Stars. Cody Jacobs has been working hard since Charlotte; getting things set for our trip to Florida later this week. We had a ton of speed during the World Finals and that has all three of us excited for 2016.”
Danny Holtgraver will kick-off the new year with a trip to the “Sunshine State.” The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native will join the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions for four events in Florida, two at Bubba Raceway Park near Ocala on February 5-6 and two at Volusia Speedway Park near Daytona on February 10-11. The 2016 All Star series schedule will resume on April 2 at Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio.
Other early season plans include making select starts with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars during his trip to Florida. In fact, Holtgraver’s most recent top-ten finish occurred with the “Greatest Show On Dirt,” finishing seventh during World Finals main event competition at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Friday, November 6.
“We are ready to head south” Holtgraver said, “I just can’t thank Pete Grove enough for this opportunity. We’ll head south with a great attitude and work to win our first night out.”
