Fourth-place finish in Louisiana State Championship opener at Boothill
Billy Moyer Jr. returned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Louisiana State Championships at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.). (Millie Tanner photo | Turn 3 Images)
With 20 Late Models entered, Billy followed up a flag-to-flag victory in his heat race with a fourth-place showing in the 40-lap feature. He trailed Tyler Stevens, Logan Martin, and Cade Dillard to the checkers with Kyle Beard coming in fifth.
For another $6,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Moyer’s fourth-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the fifth row for the feature. Racing to a Top-10 finish, Billy recorded a 10th-place outing in the 40-lap affair.
