Downforce Designs Now Offers Custom Embroidery as the Company Nears Anniversary

Inside Line Promotions - LAKE STEVENS, Wash. (Oct. 28, 2013) - It's been a busy year since Austen Wheatley founded Downforce Designs last October.

There has been a large-scale move, major machinery put to use, employees hired and a learning curve that he has settled into while running the apparel company.

"Everything in the last year went from zero to 60 in a matter of a few months," he said. "Downforce Designs has grown a tremendous amount in the past year and we have learned a lot of valuable lessons during the process. As exciting as the past year has been, I can't wait for the next year and beyond now that the wrinkles are ironed out."

Downforce Designs, which offers affordable apparel with a market in motor sports, recently added custom embroidery. In addition to in-house printing and design, the company can now provide embroidery on t-shirts, hats, beanies, polos, sweatshirts and more.

"Our goal from the start has been to have everything in one stop," Wheatley said. "It's all in house, which makes it a lot easier for the clients."

The clientele has continued to grow and includes notable sprint car stars Jonathan Allard, Seth Bergman and World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series driver Chad Kemenah, who will unveil a unique shirt at the World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., Nov. 7-9.

"We've had a lot of great clients who have been patient and I can't wait to cultivate those relationships as well as those with future clients," Wheatley said. "Downforce Designs continues to produce fresh ideas and apparel, so I would encourage any driver, team, series, track, sponsor or business interested in apparel for next season to send us a message."
