Austin got started in racing halfway through the 2011/2012 Indoor winter season in Roseburg,Or. It was a rough start for Austin as his Pit Crew (dad) knew less about Karts than Austin did driving. Mom and Dad had been looking for a family activity. Mom wanted either Austin or Joe to get into racing and we thought austin's would be cheaper....lol.
