Michael wins Double Features in Vegas

Michael qualified second on Friday night and ran second in the heat race. In the main event, Jake Swanson and Bryant Dawson got together and spun. On the restart Michael went to the lead and checked out for the win.

The real race was Saturday night as Jake, Michael and Bryant all qualified within 5/1000's of each other. Jake won the heat race followed by Michael and then Bryant. The Main event has been described as the best Focus Midget Race ever as the three of them raced three wide down the back straightaway on lap 1 and Michael split the two of them to take the lead. Jake Swanson was on Michaels tail for all 30 laps trying his best to pass Michael. As Jake described the race, " I gave him several love taps but he did not get shaken". On several occasions during the race Bryant Dawson was also in the battle and the three of them raced 3 wide. After the race an exhausted Michael said, "I did everything I possibly could to race hard and win this race. He thanked Jake for the great competition and for being a clean professional driver."
