Michael is still learning

Michael saw the Las Cruces Speedway for the first time Saturday. He struggled finding the line but made the most of it. In his heat he started 7 and finished 7th but passed a car and wasn't far behind the lead pack. He was forced to the B main he stared 3rd. Top four go to the A. He was leading by turn 2 and had a good lead before jumping the cushion and driving off the track, yet he charged back to second (no caution thrown for Michael) then with 4 laps to go there was a caution. Michael restated on the inside and spun it out in turn one. He went to 11th and came back to 6th. He admits he got excited well leading and made a mistake and he also says he just drove to hard into turn one on the restart.
