19th-place finish in Dream prelim at Eldora Speedway

Dustin Nobbe returned to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon to lift the lid on four nights of racing with the 27th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. With the 74-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Dustin timed in 16th fastest in his group before placing third in his heat race. With preliminary results on Wednesday setting the grid for heat races on Thursday evening, Nobbe posted a seventh-place finish, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $127,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream. He faded back to a 19th-place outing after dealing with an ill-handling car.

For another round of preliminary features on Friday afternoon, Dustin logged a ninth-place finish in his heat, sending him into the consolation event. Transferring the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Nobbe fell short with a 12th-place finish.

Starting in 12th in his heat race on Saturday afternoon, Nobbe came in 10th, leaving him with one final shot into the $126,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place third or better, Dustin logged a 19th-place outing.
