Dustin scores ninth-place finish in Hall of Fame Classic at Brownstown

Friday night found both Dustin and Ted Nobbe in action at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) for the Valvoline Iron-Man Series-sanctioned Pete Abell Memorial. With 24 cars entered, Dustin edged his way into the opening night feature with a fourth-place finish in his heat while Ted had to resort to a provisional. With $10,000 on the line, Dustin gained five spots in the 50-lapper to finish 11th while Ted crossed the line in 22nd. (Mark Schaefer photo)

The following night at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Hall of Fame Classic, Dustin came in fourth in his heat before improving six positions in the $10,000-to-win A-Main to place ninth. With a provisional placing him 21st on the starting grid, Ted passed four cars to finish 18th.

Dustin holds a 20-point lead atop the Iron-Man Northern Series point standings.
