Nobbe Racing attends Iron-Man Series doubleheader

Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Valvoline Iron-Man Northern Series, Dustin and Ted Nobbe visited Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday afternoon for the Johnny Mulligan Classic. After severe damaged knocked him out his heat race, Dustin charged from the tail in the feature to finish 12th. For the Jim Dunn Memorial on Saturday at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio), Dustin edged his way into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Rolling off 13th, Dustin got collected in a tangle on the third lap that brought an immediate end to his night. Ted took a provisional into the feature and passed eight cars to finish 14th.

Dustin remains leading the Iron-Man Northern Series point standings.
