JONESTOWN, Pa. (April 18, 2022) - The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss is slowly making his way back to Central Pennsylvania, as the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native is set to continue his World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a pair of starts in Illinois and Indiana on Friday and Saturday, April 22-23. Each well respected in their own right, action will ignite with a visit to Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, on Friday, followed by a stop at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana, on Saturday. The pair will award $10,000 each.

With Mother Nature interfering yet again, Zearfoss will be forced to enter the Illinois/Indiana double with only one recent start under his belt, that being a visit to the highbanks of Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, on Saturday, April 16. The former Port Royal Speedway champion and Williams Grove Speedway World of Outlaws winner was on pace to be a top-ten contender at the greater St. Louis venue but would ultimately retire early, surrendering to issues as the result of adverse track conditions; Zearfoss started ninth and was scored 19th.

“I think we were good enough to be a top-ten car on Saturday. We’ll shake this off and try again at Tri-City on Friday. Hopefully Mother Nature will cut us some slack and allow for a full weekend of racing. It’s tough to build any momentum when we lose races,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, BK Titanium, AL Driveline, No. 3Z sprint car. “Hats off to my guys. They never give up and I’m proud of their efforts. That first win of the year is coming soon. We have the knowledge and we have the mindset…we just have to put it all together.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with an Illinois and Indiana doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, April 22-23. The Jonestown Jet and the Greatest Show On Dirt will visit Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, on Friday, followed by a stop at the always exciting Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana, on Saturday. Each event will award $10,000.
