Racing At Redwood Acres Raceway Part Of The Return Of The Redwood Acres Fair
It’s been over a month since Redwood Acres Raceway held its last race on May 14. Rainy weather forced the cancellation of the event that was scheduled on June 4 which created the longer than anticipated break. The 2022 season will finally continue June 24 for a special Friday night affair presented by DelReka Distributing as RAR joins in on the return of the Redwood Acres Fair.
It’s the first time since 2019 that the fairgrounds will be host the fair and it will also be the first time since the 2016 fair that racing will take place during the signature annual event.
All five of RAR’s local divisions will be racing this Friday. Drivers in all divisions will likely be pushing just a bit harder on the night due to the 41-day break since the last race and what’s expected to be a packed grandstand.
Admission into the fair will allow race fans entry into the main grandstands on Friday. Tickets for adults 13 and over are $15. Children 12 and under and seniors 60 and over get in for $10. Children under five years old get in free. Redwood Acres Raceway season pass holders will also get access to the fair. Grandstands open at 4:00 PM with racing beginning at 5:30 PM.
