Berry Jr. Retires Early at Boone

Tom Berry Jr. was back in the driver's seat on Saturday night with a trip to Boone (Iowa) Speedway for the King of the Katwalks for the IMCA Stock Car division.

A stout 57 entries converted on the famed oval for the $2,500-to-win event, and Tom started his night by advancing from ninth to fourth in his heat race, which left him short of locking into the feature.

He would edge into the feature with a runner-up finish in his B-Main.

Starting 24th on the feature grid he retired early to a 25th-place finish.
