Kyle Beard follows Hell Tour to Red Hill Raceway

Tuesday night saw Kyle Beard return with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at the newly reopened Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.) for the 12th round of the Hell Tour. (Josh James Artwork)

After placing second in his heat race to lock into the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Beard was an early retiree near the middle stages of the feature due to rough track conditions.

He trekked to Benton Speedway (Benton, Mo.) on Wednesday but the program was cancelled by DIRTcar officials after qualifying.
