Hinton and Miller Master Chad McDaniel Memorial at Solomon Valley Raceway with Lucas Oil NOW600!

BELOIT, Kan. (July 14, 2022) - Chelby Hinton and Wyatt Miller each topped their respective fields on Wednesday night at Solomon Valley Raceway during the Chad McDaniel Memorial with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division.

21 Stock Non-Wing and 9 Restricted 'A' Class National Micro Sprints made the call to the 1/6 mile oval in north central Kansas.

Drawing the six pill on the feature inversion, Chelby Hinton waited no time to get to the front in the 25-lap Hi Plains Building Division A-Main event. Weldon Buford from the fifth starting spot crossed in the runner up spot with ninth starting Jadyn Friesen rounding out the podium. Cale Coons finished in fourth with Keegan Osantowski rounding out the top five.

Jacob Latta was sixth with Jason Friesen crossing in seventh. Riley Osantowski finished in eighth. 17th starting, Tyler Odle ,made it up to the ninth spot. Trevor Cohn completed the top ten.

Cale Coons, Weldon Buford and Chelby Hinton each picked up Velox Racing Heat Races and Performance Electronics Qualifying quick timers.

Wyatt Miller mastered the Restricted 'A' Class feature event. The win was Millers first with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series. Earning the pole of the 15-lap feature event, Miller led start to finish. Evan Semerad crossed in second with Jude Allgayer taking the final spot of the podium. Kamden Gossard was fourth and Kasen Zorn making up the top five.

Kooper Kelly was sixth with Cale Lagroon in seventh. Eighth went to Gavyn Bolt and Trevin Frye making up the field.

Semerad topped the lone Velox Racing Heat Race with Wyatt Miller setting quick time in Performance Electronics Qualifying.

The Lucas Oil NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship presented by Hi Plains Building Division returns to action on August 18-21 for Nebraska Micro Week at KAM Raceway, Jefferson County Speedway and Belleville High Banks.
