Parker Martin records Top-10 finish with Southern Nationals at Wythe

In a field of 32 cars, Martin followed up the sixth-fastest time in his group with a second-place finish in his heat. Fading out the Top-10 in the feature, Parker recorded a 19th-place outing.
The following night at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.), Parker’s sixth-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the ninth row for the A-Main. With $10,053 on the line, Martin advanced through the field seven positions in the 53-lap affair to register a 10th-place finish.
On Sunday afternoon at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.), Martin edged his way into the $10,053-to-win A-Main with a sixth-place finish in his heat. Clawing forward three spots in the 53-lapper, Parker crossed the line in 14th.
