Dale McDowell scores podium finish in Topless 100 at Batesville

With 48 Late Models on the grounds for the event co-sanctioned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Dale posted a second-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. Gaining three spots in the 30-lap affair, McDowell crossed the line in seventh.
Starting Saturday’s $50,000-to-win Topless 100 feature in seventh, McDowell clawed forward four positions in the 100-lapper to register a third-place finish. He followed Jonathan Davenport and Hudson O’Neal across the line.
