Sitting in 22nd as the field went green with 14 laps complete, Johnny was credited with a 18th-place finish after pulling off on lap 53. Stormy raced from 13th-to-third in his 20-lap prelim after getting behind the eight-ball in his time trial session.

On Thursday afternoon for a pair of prelims to kick off the 52nd annual World 100 weekend, Johnny started the night off with a heat race triumph while Stormy came in third. With $12,000 on the line in both features, Stormy dropped one spot to finish 12th while Johnny recorded a fifth-place finish. He trailed Jonathan Davenport, Jimmy Owens, Brandon Overton, and Chris Madden to the checkers in the 25-lapper.

For another round of $12,000-to-win preliminary features on Friday, Stormy edged his way into his prelim with a fourth-place finish in his heat while Johnny missed a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main. Inching forward four spots, Stormy recorded a 12th-place finish.

With preliminary points from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for heat races on Saturday, Johnny shot out to an early race lead in his heat but ran into mechanical issues, ending his night on the fifth circuit. Stormy followed up a ninth-place finish in his heat with an impressive 17th-to-fourth showing in his B-Main. Starting the $55,000-to-win World 100 in 28th, Stormy was credited with a 27th-place finish after pulling off on lap 19.
