Cameron Weaver Enters Powell Family Memorial

Cameron Weaver traveled south to All-Tech Raceway (Ellisville, Fla.) over the weekend for the 27th annual Powell Family Memorial. The Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series event drew 73 entries to the 1/2-mile oval.

Cameron found himself behind the eight ball to start the weekend after qualifying eighth fastest in his time trial group followed by a ninth-place finish in his heat race.

Starting 13th in his B-Main on Saturday night, he advanced to an eighth-place finish, which left Weaver short of locking into the feature event.

While he didn't qualify for the 67-lap finale, Weaver did earn the 11th-starting spot for the Non-Qualifier's Race. He advanced nine spots to finish second in the 20-lap event behind Sam Seawright with B.J. Robinson, David Markham, and Nevin Gainey.
