Owosso Speedway Adds Seasoned Veteran Announcer Chris Fobbe to Staff!
Ovid Mi, - Owosso Speedway Management is pleased to announce we've added Chris Fobbe to our list of professionals that work for the organization!
Regulars at Owosso Speedway will recognize the voice of Chris, he worked at Owosso in the booth from 2007 until 2012.
Chris was the announcer at Dixie Motor Speedway from 2009 until 2012, Springport Motor Speedway 2013 - 2015, 2018 - 2022 and the Midwest Modified Tour from 2015 - 2016. He has announced at Bristol, IRP, Winchester and Mansfield. During the winter months, Chris has done IRacing broadcasts for the Global Sim Racing Channel since 2018.
In addition to announcing, Chris has written results articles for Owosso Speedway and several other racing media publications. Chris was a featured columnist for the Marc Times Racing News, has written for Horsepower Happenings, and RPM magazine.
Chris was instrumental in bringing MyRacePass to the pavement side of racing in Michigan, helping to streamline some operations/scoring and saving points tabulation time in our industry.
