2023 Longdale Speedway Schedule Unvield!
LONGDALE, Okla. (December 22, 2022) - The dirt will fly once again in 2023 at Longdale Speedway.
Terry Mattox has leased the facility to host 12 races at the state of the art 3/8 mile oval in western Oklahoma.
"I am excited to bring racing back to Longdale." stated Terry Mattox. "I have ran a few races in 2020 and 2021 at Longdale while taking 2022 off to oversee the sprint car series I had acquired."
While Mattox has a stronghold of Sprint Car racing in the region, the 2023 Longdale Speedway offers a mixture of events for the local race fans.
Races will take place on the third Saturday of every month starting in March and running through October. There are a few Friday and Saturday shows that do not fall on the third weekends.
The season will start on Saturday, March 18 with the Enid/Longdale Challenge. The challenge will be an afternoon show at Enid Speedway before a night show at Longdale Speedway.
OCRS Sprint Cars will grace the clay on two occasions. Saturday, April 15 and Saturday, October 7.
The ASCS Sooner Region will headline the Walleye Rodeo Roundup on May 19-20.
On June 17 the regular Longdale Speedway classes will take center stage.
Three visits by the Sooner Late Model Series will take place on Saturday, July 15, Saturday, August 19 and Friday, October 6.
On Saturday, Sept. 2 the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series makes their first ever visit to the lightning fast 3/8 mile.
Longdale 100 Enduro will take place on Sunday, Sept. 3.
