NOW600 Southwest Kansas Region Set to Debut in 2023!
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 16, 2023) - Adding to the list of regional tours set to debut in 2023, the National Open Wheel 600 Series announced today the formation of the NOW600 Southwest Kansas Region.
Creating a chance to go after three championships in 2023, the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Southwest Kansas Region will encompass all events at Airport Raceway in Garden City and Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City to crown an overall Southwest Kansas champion while also crowing track champions within the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Weekly Racing series.
"This has been something I have wanted to try for a while now." commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. "Having a chance to bring two tracks within 45 minutes of each other to offer three separate championships is something to help grow the sport of micro sprint racing in the southwest Kansas area."
Airport Raceway joined the NOW600 Weekly Racing family in 2018 and enters its sixth season under the sanctioning while Dodge City Raceway Park is set for their inaugural season under the NOW600 umbrella.
Drivers wishing to run for points at both Airport Raceway and Dodge City Raceway Park will need to join as a NOW600 member for the Southwest Kansas Region.
If a driver is only wanting to run for points at one track, they will register under that track's driver registration.
