Dooley sixth in Battle at the Beach at Southern Raceway
Matt Dooley made the surprise trip to Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) on Saturday to compete with the Southern All Star Series for the sixth-annual Battle at the Beach.
Competing only on the second day of the event, Matt clicked off the fifth-fastest lap in his qualifying group before earning a transfer spot in his heat race. In the $10,000-to-win feature, Dooley stayed out of trouble and wound up just outside the Top-5 in sixth.
