Martin lands Top-5 finish at Cochran with Crate Racin' USA
Parker Martin returned to the driver's seat this weekend with the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Series on Saturday afternoon at his home track of Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) for the No Foolin’ Foray.
With a strong 44 car field on hand, Parker qualified eighth-quickest in his group before charging forward six spots in his heat race to place runner-up. Rolling off from the third row in the $10,000-to-win main event, Martin quickly moved into the Top-5 and was running fourth when the checkered flag flew. He trailed Kyle Bronson, Trynt Lloyd, and Cody Overton while Blake Craft completed the Top-5.
