Rain Cancels Saturday Flat Karts
With inclement weather in the area, the staff and management have canceled Saturday Flat Kart racing at Mountain Creek Speedway. "With the weather coming in, it would have been too much to gather up the employees to to handle the work needed to be done with such a high chance of rain." Said track owner and promoter, Adam Stewart. "We wanted to give competitors other options early to run tracks not effected by weather."
Sunday Outlaw Kart a Mirco Sprint racing will still follow their regularly scheduled program. Gates open at 11:30am with practice beginning at 2pm. Micro Sprint teams are expected to load in around 4pm with practice beginning at 6pm. Sunday can be watched streamed live on www.moutnaincreekspeedway.tv When the track isn’t racing, it’s busy Monday through Friday with testing and practice sessions for everything from flat karts to national midgets. The track will also be available for testing and practice days throughout the year.
