Earl Pearson Jr. ninth in Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson at Lucas Oil Speedway

Starting off his Memorial Day Weekend on Thursday, Earl Pearson Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the first night of the Show-Me 100.

With 59 Late Models on site, EPJ earned a feature starting spot with a runner-up finish in his heat race. For the $6,000-to-win Cowboy Classic, Pearson Jr. recorded a 16th-place outing.

For another $6,000-to-win event on Friday, EPJ earned the 16th-starting spot and gained seven positions in the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson to land a Top-10 finish in ninth.

Earning a Top-16 spot in Saturday's Show-Me 100 via the weekend's points, Pearson Jr. ran mid-pack for the majority of the $50,000 main event and was 15th when the checkered flag flew.
