LaRose wins again at Doe Run, Robards notches trio of top-10 finishes at Coles County

The RS12 Motorsports team took on its weekly slate of racing in Missouri and Illinois on the last weekend in June and came away with its usual impressive results.

On Friday, Zander LaRose competed in the LO206 Restricted Box Stock class at Doe Run Raceway in Missouri. For the second week in a row, the driver called “Z-Man” led every lap of both his heat race and feature on his way to victory lane at the 1/6-mile track.

The following evening, Harrison Robards raced in three divisions at the 1/8-mile Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, Illinois. He posted his best performance in the Outlaw Wing class as he won his heat race and finished third in the 25-lap feature.

However, Robards also drove to solid results in two other programs. In the Non-Wing Micro ranks, “Dirty Harry” finished fourth in his heat and seventh in the 20-lap A-Main. He also came home fourth in his A-Class Wing heat and claimed a ninth-place result in the 20-lap feature.
