Midwest Legends Dirt Series

Track ID: Thunder Hill Speedway

With the 2nd Midwest Legends Dirt Series season right around the corner, we want to spotlight the tracks we will be visiting throughout the season. Some tracks will be familiar to fans of the MLDS while some tracks will be completely new. Let’s jump in and learn about some fantastic facilities!!

The fourth track of the season takes us out west to Thunder Hill Speedway. A new track for the MLDS but not for legends, Thunder Hill will bring close quarters racing to the MLDS in a big way. In 2024, Levi Broer took home the track championship in an exciting season.

When the weekend comes around, keep your eyes out for reigning champion Levi Broer obviously. The drivers to pick up wins in 2024, Davey Pennel, Michael Weber, and Cam Panitzke are all drivers to watch to be near the front. Abbygale Blasel is another driver to watch on track. A regular at Thunder Hill, she brought home nothing but top ten finishes during weekly racing enroute to a third-place finish in the championship.

The smallest track on the schedule at 1/8th mile, Thunder Hill will host two-days of racing back-to-back. May 16th and 17th will host the series at the track's Spring Chicken Challenge for the first time in the series history.
