4B4EVER Race Honoring Jackie Boggs Moves to Mudlick Valley Raceway

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (February 3, 2025)—The race honoring the late Jackie Boggs will move to a new home and have a new sanctioning body starting in 2025.

The Fifth Annual 4B4EVER event presented by Impact RaceGear will move to Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Ky. and be sanctioned by the Valvoline America Late Model Iron-Man Series on Saturday June 14, 2025. The race will pay $7,500-to-win and $500-to-start. The event is also part of the eight-race Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics tour, a mini-tour inside the regional tour.

The race honors the late Jackie Boggs, dubbed the “Last True Outlaw” who passed away on October 24, 2020. The Grayson, Ky. native was 51. Not only did Boggs enjoy a long successful career in the 4B Motorsports entry, his victory list included nine American Late Model Iron-Man Series wins, three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series & World of Outlaws Late Model Series event victories, eleven Mid-Atlantic Championship Series races, four STARS & Battle of the Bluegrass Series paydays among many regional and local victories in the famed No. 4B.

“It’s a true honor for us to be able to sanction this event. I want to thank Andrea Kelley (longtime girlfriend of Boggs) for reaching out to me and asking if we would like to continue the tradition of this race which honors a true legend of our sport,” stated American Late Model Iron-Man Series promoter Chris Tilley. “I have a lot of memories and stories of Jackie that would take days to tell. Jackie was one of a kind and meant a lot to our series over the years. He won the first Iron-Man Classic I put on in 2004 and I’ll never forget the impact he left on racing in our area,” said Tilley again. “I also want to thank the entire Boggs family for allowing us to honor his memory.”

Former winners of the 4B4EVER race include Tyler Erb in 2021, Zack Dohm in 2022, Drake Troutman in 2023 & Carson Ferguson in 2024. The four previous events were held at the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio.

More information on the 4B4EVER event will be released in the coming months. For more information on the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series, please log on to www.IMDIRT.net .
