Midwest Legends Dirt Series
Track ID: Gravity Park Speedway
With the 2nd Midwest Legends Dirt Series season right around the corner, we want to spotlight the tracks we will be visiting throughout the season. Some tracks will be familiar to fans of the MLDS while some tracks will be completely new. Let’s jump in and learn about some fantastic facilities!!
Another track that makes its way back to the MLDS schedule after a great showing in 2024 is Gravity Park Speedway. The track gains two additional appearances from the legends going into the 2025 season.
A unique venue, Gravity Park Speedway brings a true grassroots racing vibe to the MLDS schedule. Chilton, Wisconsin houses the red clay oval and all its glory. One of the youngest tracks on the schedule, Gravity Park’s history starts in 2017 when the track was approved for operation, but it was due to rain that the track wasn’t raced on until May of 2018. The track’s weekly Friday night classes, modifieds, stock cars, sport modifieds, grand nationals, street stocks, and 4 cylinders make nights a blast for fans spectating. No wall on the back straight makes drivers have to be perfect when it comes to side-by-side action.
Jordan Miklas picked up the lone win in 2024 early in the season. Ryan Sullivan and Jackson Lewis completed the podium. Another driver who is a fan of the track is Charlie Spoonmore, who finished 5th in 2024. Cal Swenson was another driver who had a good run, making a dash through the field.
The 1/3rd mile track has three dates on the ‘25 schedule. All dates include the regular weekly classes and vintage modifieds as a special treat to fans. June 20th marks the first date with a month until the next date on July 18th. The final date takes place in a busy, three race week, on August 15th.
