Dirt Replaced and New Owners at Revolution Park

What started out as a concrete oval at Revolution Park in Monroe, Louisiana has been covered once again with a thick coat of Louisiana Red Clay. With new owners working all winter long, this is shaping up to be an outstanding season of Saturday night dirt track racing.
The facility was purchased by David and Misti Smith, and the couple have produced an exciting schedule of events for their opening season. A total of 27 race nights for the year that will be bringing eight classes of cars in competition for eight various night throughout the season. The remaining 19 nights of racing action will consist of special payouts for each class on different dates along with 3 dates of racing action featuring the Gulf South Crate Late Models, plus 2 dates bringing amazing racing excitement with the Comp Cams Late Model Series.
The owners and a great group of hard working, race loving people have spent the past few months putting in countless hours making improvements to the facilities. A lot of long hours have went in to putting the clay surface back on the track, but they have also spent their time cleaning, repairing, pressure washing, painting and preparing for the 2025 season.
During last nights “Meet and Greet” with track workers and owners, the excitement for what’s to come was very apparent. The love of the sport and the desire to see not only cars on the track surface, but the fans that will grace the stands was shared by everyone. Mr. Smith said, “We are new to this side of racing, we will make mistakes, but we will learn from them and do better.” The team of workers at “The Rev” are knowledgeable and experienced in what they have been hired to do, the owners may be new to owning a race facility but are not new to the sport, nor are they new to being long time owners of a very successful and thriving business.
The first night of racing for the 2025 Season will take place on Saturday, March 15th with Tuners, Pro-Mods, Sportsters, USRA Sanctioned Factory Stocks, B-Mods and Limiteds as well as CRUSA Sanctioned Street Stocks and Crate Late Models. Rumor has it, there may be a “special guest” on the premises!! The staff at The Rev are looking forward to seeing you there!!
