Roxboro Motorsports Park Gearing Up for Another Great Year
TIMBERLAKE, N.C. — Roxboro Motorsports Park celebrated its 65th anniversary season and looked ahead to another great year at its annual racers banquet.
IHRA Division Director Doug Foley Jr. was recently on hand to help the historic North Carolina track near the Virginia border celebrate its 2024 champions and other top finishers.
Carey Long (Top), Jesse Betteron (Footbrake), Charlie Wisecarver (Gear Jammer) and Carter Jackson (Junior Dragster) were among the champions honored.
In addition, Nathan Tanner (Top), Austin Welch (Mod), Ross Gould (Sportsman) and Jackson represented Roxboro at the 2024 IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.
Plenty of great action is scheduled for the IHRA-sanctioned track in 2025. It starts with the March Madness No Prep Showdown. Classes include Small Tire, Hard Tire and Street Car.
The 66th annual Easter Bash takes place from April 18-20. IHRA Summit SuperSeries points races are scheduled through September. Bracket races include $3,000 for the Top and Footbrake winners and 80 percent payout for the Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster classes.
