Pair of Top-10 finishes during Winterfest at Duck River Raceway Park
With the track's Winterfest event being pushed back to March, Oakley Johns was one of 11 Super Late Model entries at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the weekend.
Starting on the front-row of the $3,000-to-win feature, Johns ran inside the Top-3 until mechanical issue forced him to pull off early.
As the field ballooned to 18 entries for Sunday afternoon's finale, Oakley started eighth in the $6,025-to-win main event and wound up seventh.
