April to Open the MLDS Season

West Allis, WI (April 1st, 2025) - After a long and seemingly endless winter, the Midwest Legends Dirt Series is ready to roll into the racing season the right way, kicking off the season with a marquee month of April. A practice session and two races headline the first racing month of 2025.

The month begins at Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. An open practice session on April 13th, starting at 3pm and going until 8pm, weather depending. This practice is open to anyone in any class. The MLDS will have a safety inspection area that day for drivers to come and get their inspection done before the season begins. MLDS will also be experimenting with some content creation ideas and urge any driver willing to participate to contact Zack Krueger for further details.

The first race of the season will take place on April 19th, with the series making the trip to Iowa to open the season at Maquoketa Speedway. A high car count is expected at the season opener and fierce competition can be expected at one of Iowa’s premier dirt tracks. IMCA Late Models, Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and 4-Stocks will also be in attendance.

The Plymouth Dirt Track hosts the second race of the season at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Wisconsin. April 26th plays host to the first ever MLDS event at the facility after a rainout last season. A true bullring will put the drivers through their paces early on in the season. 360 Sprints, Grand Nationals, and B-Mods will also be at the track for their season opener.

Drivers will want to get off on the right foot early on which means good finishes at both tracks. Drivers who can quickly hone in their car and master both style of track in April will be rewarded with an early point start going into the meat of the season later on.
