Highly Successful Event Set for Sunday, April 27 with Greg Martin and Ryan Susice
RANSOMVILLE, NY (April 2, 2025) After two standout years, Ransomville Speedway is proud to announce the return of its popular Go-Kart Rookie School on Sunday, April 27. Back by demand, this third annual edition will once again feature longtime 358 Modified drivers Greg Martin and Ryan Susice as instructors.
Designed for new and aspiring racers, the Rookie School offers a full day of expert coaching and on-track experience to help participants build a strong foundation in kart racing.
Gates open at 8:30 AM. Instruction kicks off in the grandstands from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, where Martin and Susice will cover race basics, safety protocols, kart setup, and key insights into the sport.
From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, rookies will move to the track for hands-on instruction, applying their knowledge under live conditions. Racing radios are highly recommended for this portion and are required on race days.
To finish the day, an open practice session runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Admission for practice is $15 per kart, while Rookie School participants enjoy complimentary entry.
Important Notice:
All individuals entering the infield must sign an insurance release form. Additionally, both legal guardians must be present to sign the minor release for any underage participants. No exceptions.
Whether you’re starting out or brushing up for the season, this is a can’t-miss opportunity to learn from two of the best in the business.
