Eldora Speedway’s 72nd Annual Season Opener features Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (April 15, 2025)—The 72nd annual season opener of one of the country’s most prolific racetracks will be on Saturday April 19th. Eldora Speedway located in Rossburg, Ohio opens their season with the 2025 lid-lifter for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP which will be 30 laps for $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start. Also in action will be the DIRTcar Modifieds & Super Stocks.

Activities for the 72nd Annual Season Opener at Eldora Speedway will see the pit area open at 2:30 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 4:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 5:15 p.m., with hot laps and time trials getting underway at 6:00 p.m., Ticket prices will be $20 for adults ($25 for adult reserved seats), with children ages 13 and under free ($10 for children reserved seats). Pit passes will be $40.

The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Fronts/Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 and Hoosier NLMT 3; Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, Hoosier NLMT 3, and Hoosier NLMT 4 (there is no limit on the number of tires used; the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). The entry fee for the event is $50 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. B-Main Money for non-transfers will be $100.
