Jerry Gilkey Memorial Street Stock Shootout Set for May 15–17 at Western Kentucky Speedway
(Eastaboga, AL – May 8, 2025) – The dirt will fly, and the engines will roar as Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, Kentucky prepares to host the highly anticipated 3rd Annual Jerry Gilkey Memorial Street Stock Shootout, taking place May 15–17, 2025. With a weekend purse exceeding $50,000, this event promises to be one of the premier grassroots racing showcases in the region.
Headlining the action is a massive $7,000-to-win feature for the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Street Stock Division on Saturday night, May 17th. The Friday night program, May 16th, will feature two $1,200-to-win features, delivering a double dose of high-stakes racing for Street Stock competitors. Each night will offer completely separate programs, giving fans and racers double the excitement and opportunity.
Adding to the appeal for drivers, no entry fee will be charged for the event. The weekend kicks off with a Thursday night practice session, running from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, where racers can fine-tune their machines. A special $1,000 bonus, presented by Crate Racin' USA TV, will go to the fastest overall Crate Racin' USA Street Stock time in the final hour of practice.
Alongside the Street Stock Shootout, the weekend lineup also includes racing in the Factory Stock, Mini Stock, Rusty Bolt, and Economy classes—running both Friday and Saturday nights.
