Abby Hohlbein races to Top-10 at Montpelier Motor Speedway

Abby Hohlbein’s 2025 season continued over the weekend with a pair of appearances at Midwest ovals, highlighted by a top-10 finish on Saturday night.

Hohlbein joined 28 USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car entries at the iconic Eldora Speedway on Friday, continuing to gain experience on the challenging half-mile in her 2B Racing No. 2A entry. After gaining one position to finish seventh in her heat, her night ended early when she was spun while battling for a transfer spot in the B-Main.

Following the rainout of Saturday’s second round at Eldora, the team shifted gears and traveled to Montpelier Motor Speedway. There, Hohlbein impressed with a fifth-to-third run in her heat and charged forward five positions in the 25-lap main event to score a ninth-place finish—marking her first top-10 result in just her third career 410 Non-Wing Sprint Car start.
